While I was in LA, my friends took me shopping in Costa Mesa. One of our stops was at The Lab Antimall, which as was a sharp contrast from the ever-fancy South Coast Plaza, just a few blocks away. Armed with my flat sandals (c’mon, no one — not even a blogger — really shops in heels, do they?) I had a great time exploring the little shops and walking around the unique shopping center.

This store, The Shangri-la Jewelry Boutique, was filled with all sorts of treasures. Everywhere I turned, there was more jewelry to look at. Talking with the owner, she said that some people have spent hours combing through her shelves. I was not surprised!

The sunny weather and this hopscotch court brought out my inner child!
