Greetings from SoCal! I took a last minute trip this week with Papa Luxe, and we’ve been busy exploring Huntington Beach and beyond. It’s so nice to not have to deal with rain for a change! We went to Laguna Beach, and if you are ever in the area, I highly recommend eating lunch at The Deck. It’s a casual outdoor spot that overlooks the ocean, and the food is great!

Anyway, back to this outfit. I’ve been on a spring dress craze lately, and I’m hoping this LA weather will follow me home so that I can keep wearing them! I adore this lace-trimmed number because I can wear it for different occasions: wedding guest, date, brunch with the girls… just change up the shoes, jacket and accessories and boom, a whole other look is born! The back detail is the best part; it’s lovely and sexy without showing too much skin. I do need to mention, though, that if you are petite like me, this dress does run a little big on the top half. I am wearing an XS and had to pull the straps as tight as possible so the torso would stay high enough to prevent any *ahem* wardrobe malfunctions.
