It’s a super casual outfit day today because when Nicole and I shot this look, I was feeling a bit worn down. To lift my spirits, I wore some of my comfiest closet favorites.

I immediately reached for the fuzziest sweater I owned, because I wanted to recreate the same cozy feeling I get when I wear a fluffy robe  — something I’m always wearing when I’m at home!

Because my outfit palette ended up being so earthy, I brought in a printed clutch for a nice, muted color accent.

My real statement piece, though, were these boots. The studded details added the punch my look needed while being completely practical in heel height.

I’m actually heading off to Los Angeles tomorrow to attend the Simply Stylist Fashion & Beauty Conference! (Is anyone else going?) I’m really excited to hear all the speakers, including blogger Chriselle Lim and stylist Tara Swennen, and learn about their journeys. I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures and recap the event for you guys next week. 🙂
