After seeing my blogging idol, Wendy Nguyen, pair leather sleeves with a jacket, I wanted to challenge myself to experiment with the same accessory. Instead of putting them over a jacket, however, I layered them over a sweater I blogged about last month. The added leather accents completely transform the knit, going from cozy to tough-girl!

To continue the tough-girl vibe, I wore my new go-to leather pants (guys, they are NOT overrated; they are one of the most comfortable pants I own), and then added lighter colors and softer textures for a high contrast.

I love how the leather sleeves look when they peak out from under the jacket sleeves!

One day I’ll be able to afford Valentino, but until then, these are the perfect alternative. 🙂
