I swear, we went straight from summer to winter here in San Francisco, with only a couple days that felt like fall. In between winter rainfalls last week, we did get a brisk autumn day, so I quickly took advantage and reached for a cozy sweater and scarf combo.
This oversized scarf was an impulse-buy (it was so soft and I loved the color!) but upon getting home, I found that wearing it in a more traditional way around my neck sadly overwhelmed my frame. Determined to wear it still, I experimented with different ways of draping and folding it, and I found that wearing like a wrap was one of the best ways that was most flattering on me.
Earlier this year, I purged my shoe closet and got rid of my old pair of worn-down brown boots. I thought it’d be easy to find a replacement pair, but shockingly it wasn’t! Luckily, Nicole Shoes came to my rescue, and I fell in love with this business-in-the-front/party-in-the-back style.
I actually have my mom to thank for finding this crossbody bag! We were making our usual pit-stop at Papaya Living in Ashland, Oregon on our way home from Thanksgiving with my sister, and she spotted it on a mannequin.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a great week!

It’s the 2nd time I’ve seen someone blog with the TOMS for Target sweater and I’m totally regretting not getting one for myself. It looks really warm and great for winter.
