It’s no secret I love my tried-and-true skinny jeans, but today I’m stepping out of the box and into, quite literally, a pair of flared denims. I haven’t worn flares since high school, and because I remember how short and stumpy they made me look when paired with my sneakers — Mom and Dad, please BURN those pictures ASAP, thanks! — I have avoided them at all costs. That is, until now, after I realized that if I just wear shoes with pointed toes, flares can actually elongate petite legs!

I absolutely love this unique peplum top. Style Stalker is one of my favorite brands because of their prints and fun silhouettes, I just wish I could afford them! Luckily, I was able to score this top in my monthly LE TOTE box, so it was a win-win situation. (Read more about LE TOTE here!)
