Thanks to some encouragement from my friends from Adela Mei, this was the first time trying a drop waist silhouette. I was pleasantly surprised at how flattering this dress was on my 5’2″ frame!
The pleats were so fun to twirl in! I love pieces that remind me to stay playful. 🙂
Because this dress had a 1920’s-feel to it, I reached for a vintage bag, but opted to wear contrasting, modern studded heels.
Wanting my favorite statement necklace to take center stage, I selected delicate flash tattoos as complimentary accents. The “peace” on my wrist is what I consider to be my “Easter egg” tattoo because it’s hidden most of the time and can only be seen when I lift my hand just as it is in this photo — and that’s usually only when I’m drinking my usual cup of tea or water!
I hope you all are having a great week. Thanks for reading!
