We finally started getting some much-needed rain here in SF, so I wanted to embrace the gloomy clouds with dark grey and black tones.

I love how this loose-fitting floral blouse adds the perfect amount of feminine contrast to the structured skinny jean.

These are my new go-to heels! They are a great, budget-friendly alternative to the Valentino Rockstud pump. 🙂

Just for fun, here’s a little behind-the-scenes story: Just as my friend, Emily, and I started to photograph this look, it started raining! Yes, I wanted to embrace the gloom, but we were not at all prepared for actual raindrops. If you look closely in the first and last photos above my head, you can see the droplets, but in all the other shots they blend in. (Is anyone else fascinated by how precipitation barely registers on camera?) Anyway, we rushed through getting the shots and, of course, as we hurried back to the car the sun started to peak through. Go figure!
