This past weekend, I went on a quick trip to visit my friends in Southern California for the holidays. We didn’t do a whole lot except eat and enjoy each others’ company since we don’t get to see each other as often as we’d like, and it was exactly what I needed after going through a particularly tough time last month.

As you might have guessed, the LA “winter” weather was great. It was sunny all weekend long, and even as the sun was setting, this lightweight sweater paired with a knit scarf was enough for this San Franciscan.

I am kind of obsessed with this sweater. I never would have thought of color-blocking grey with mustard, but when I saw it I really loved it. The color combination really goes well with other pops of colors, which is why I opted for a wine colored scarf and a turquoise health tracker (instead of my usual gold one).

Truth be told, Old Navy isn’t typically one of my go-to stores when I’m shopping, but I’m so glad I wandered into the San Francisco flagship store before my trip. Everything was on crazy sale — and it still is! Seriously, both the sweater and scarf I’m wearing here are only $8 each right now! I highly recommend everyone check out their latest winter collection and before it’s all gone. (P.S. They have petites! Yasss!)
