I totally get how ironic this is, me posting a winter outfit when it’s 70-degrees outside. California is seriously having the weirdest weather right now! Not to complain about this January “summer,” but I do miss the cold. We had one whole day of it last Saturday, when it rained for the third time this season, and of course, that was the only day Ryan and I had to shoot this set. We ran around like crazy people trying to beat oncoming sprinkles, and luckily we finished right as it started drizzling — talk about perfect timing!

A faux shearling vest is a winter staple because it’s so cozy and warm. With one of these, a jacket is optional!

I really love how this Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag has a pop of purple in the snakeskin pattern. Inspired by said purple, I opted to wear aubergine-colored pants instead of standard blue jeans.
