Hey everyone! I’m so sorry I’ve been such a bad blogger lately, hardly posting anything here or on Instagram. But, to my defense, I’ve been gearing up for a trip to Paris! It’s going to be my first time ever traveling abroad, and being the obsessive researcher that I am, I’ve been spending all my free time learning about what there is to do there, how to get around, how currency exchange works, etc etc etc. I feel like I am the last person on Earth to travel abroad, because every time I’ve said that this is my first time out of the country, I get the same jaw-drop reaction. Let’s just say I’m fashionably late to the traveling party, shall we? 🙂
Anyway, I’m back for a quick post today. These photos are from a rainy day a few weeks back, when the Bay Area weather went bipolar for a day. I dressed in layers, because when the sun peaked through the clouds, it was pretty warm, but when the clouds fought back, the temperature dropped.
I played around with using a printed button-down top as a sweater with this look, keeping it unbuttoned for a casual ease.
Inspired by the bipolar weather, I mixed contrasting prints together.
Because the top half of my look was so light and airy, I kept the bottom half grounded dark, sturdier fabrics.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!
