I had the exciting opportunity to attend a holiday party hosted by RocksBox and Zappos earlier this week. Dressed from head to toe in festive black and gold, I headed out to 111 Minna, an art gallery, not knowing quite what to expect. I was hoping jewelry and shoes would be involved considering the hosts, and while I wasn’t completely right, I also wasn’t disappointed in the least!

In the center of the party was a beautiful selection of jewelry and accessories (but no shoes, darn). Their concept: try on everything! This was the perfect way to discover designers and styles you wouldn’t have otherwise considered. There were tons of mirrors everywhere so you could see how everything looked, and if you snapped and posted a selfie wearing any of the goodies on Instagram, you would be entered in a raffle for a $200 Zappos gift card and a 1-year RocksBox membership.

I found four pieces that I thought were really amazing. Conveniently, three of my favorites were actually grouped together.

In addition to the lovely jewelry, there were delicious treats to enjoy. Fun fact: I had my very first cronut at this party.

Bonding over said sweets, I met three fellow bloggers: Kate, Kathleen and Kat. They were all so nice, and I hope I will run into them again soon. 🙂

At the end of the night, we were all given a goodie bag with cookies, earrings from RocksBox and a Zappos gift card inside. It was such a nice surprise, and I immediately went home and used the gift card to purchase those Jessica Simpson sunglasses I loved so much!
