Man, coming back from vacations can be such a drag! Diving straight back into a busy work week has kept me going non-stop, so unfortunately my Lucky FABB stories will have to wait until my next post. However, I’m excited to share my Lucky FABB brunch outfit with you guys! 🙂
Remember when I said my pink loving days are over? Well, apparently, I have to retract that statement. I have no idea what caused my opinion to shift, but lately I’ve been finding myself drawn to pale pinks. When I was outfit planning for Lucky FABB, I came across this lovely dress from ASOS and I loved how feminine it was, right down to the embellished waistline and flowy fabric. Impulsively, I bought it just to try on. I was sure it’d be one of those “love it on someone else, hate it on me” situations, but, as it turned out, I did love it on me! It was such a huge contrast from my daily uniform (black, white and more black), and wearing something completely out of my comfort zone was a nice change.
To contrast with the feminine colors and textures of this outfit, I accessorized with edgier accents, including a nail bangle and spiky bracelet.
That’s all for now, but before I go, I want to wish my mom a very Happy Birthday! Love you, Mom! 🙂

April 17, 2014 at 6:47 amAre they comfortable to walk in? Now i’ve seen these i’m thinking of buying them, absolutely love them!
Hi Sofie! As far as comfort goes, I thought they were just ‘okay.’ I have really sensitive feet that are incredibly blister-prone, so wearing them for 3 hours (constantly standing/walking) was all I could do before I tore them off my feet in favor of flats. The kitten heel helped a lot; the first 2 hours were comfortable, but it was the last hour that did it! >_<
One thing to note is that the is one ankle strap that isn't adjustable. You can't see the gap in any of the photos i posted, but several people mentioned this as a problem in their reviews on Nordstrom.com. I personally was torn between how cute the shoes are vs. the ill-fitting strap, but it may not bother you. 🙂
