I haven’t talked about it before, but I really like sleeveless turtlenecks. Not only is the cut flattering, but it also gives off an understated sexy vibe without even trying, since it both hides and reveals a little bit of skin. In a maxi dress form, some women might worry about it being a little “too much” to wear to work, but depending on the dress code, layering a sweater, jacket or blazer over it might be all you need to do to make it okay. My office is pretty casual, for example, so I opted to wear my favorite denim jacket. I played around with popping the collar (the jury’s still out on how I feel about it), and also tying it around my waist for an even more casual feel.
As for shoes, you could easily wear this look with pumps or booties. But I was in a fun mood, so I decided go outside of my comfort zone and choose green heeled sandals. I hardly ever wear colored shoes, let alone green shoes, so this was a big deal to me! I love this pair because the chunky heels and padding keeps my feet feeling comfortable all day. The suede material also makes them perfect going into fall weather!
Hope you enjoyed this look! Thank you for reading and I hope you all have a great week!
P.S. Thank you so much for your birthday wishes here and on my IG. š
