Being my latest outfit posts have been about overcoming my fear of bold colors and patterns, it seemed like the perfect time to mention that Target’s next designer collaboration is just around the corner! The name Peter Pilotto may not be familiar to all, but perhaps you might recognize some of the outfits on these lovely ladies:

Peter Pilotto is a celebrity favorite for the obvious reason that he’s brilliant with mixing colors and prints. His designs are fresh, fun and youthful; perfect for a Spring/Summer collection for the masses. The line includes women’s apparel, accessories, shoes and swimwear, and the prices range from $16.99 (sunglasses) to $79.99 (the dress that will sell out in 2 seconds). I’m especially looking forward to this collection because it’s made to be mixed and matched, therefore taking the stress off of those of us (myself included) who find mixing prints to be on challenging side. My personal favorites in this collab are:

The collection arrives in Target stores, Target.com and NET-A-PORTER.com (for international customers) on February 9, 2014. It’s unclear what time the online store will launch, but let’s hope it goes smoother than the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target release! I will be sure to update you guys with any new information I learn as the date gets closer.
