Hello and Happy Monday! I’m letting this olive green romper shine with mixed metals and just a hint of color with my clutch today.
I didn’t want my statement necklace to overpower the romper, so I let it just peak out from under my collar.
I absolutely adore the delicate crochet detailing on the shorts. It keeps the romper playful and feminine!
I’m so sorry to have disappeared again! Last month, everything got so incredibly busy that I started becoming an insomniac. It was really bad; it took me hours to fall asleep, and then I would wake up every two hours worrying about something I forgot to do or didn’t get to do. It got to the point where I knew I had to make a change in my daily routine in order to reset my sleep schedule, but I’m happy to report that after a couple of weeks, I think I’ve got it under control — phew! 🙂
Thanks for sticking with me. I really appreciate all of you, and I can’t wait to share the outfits I have in the queue!

Insomnia is the worst! I’ve been fighting it on and off for 3 years. Any good tips to share on how to get a good night’s rest?

March 2, 2015 at 8:49 amOh no! I’m sorry to hear that. I was barely functioning after just 1 week; I can’t imagine suffering from it for 3 years!
Well, I’m not sure if this will help you because I knew my insomnia was because I was just stressing out about all the things I needed to get done. I was also spending way too much time in front of a computer (close to 11 hrs/day), and studies have said that people should stop staring at a computer or phone screen about an hour before going to bed. (Something about the lights prevents the brain from shutting down in a timely manner, or something like that.) Anyway, so I cut out blogging for a bit in order to avoid computers after work, and I made it a point to go to sleep by 11pm. It took a while for things to reset, but that’s all I did.
Good luck, hun! XO
March 2, 2015 at 2:08 pmThis is gorgeous girly! Really feminine and romantic, perfect with those awesome shoes. I feel you on the busy – I have been travelling for work non-stop, and keeping making lists upon lists of what I need to be doing. I hate when business interferes with pleasure! Will I see you at the blogger event at ModaVive on Thurs?

March 2, 2015 at 11:10 amYou’re so sweet, Jill! I’m glad I’m not the only one who makes lists upon lists. It really is the best way to keep on top of things. 🙂
Unfortunately, I won’t be there at ModaVive on Thursday, but I’ll be at Express tomorrow! Will you be going to that?
