I think I speak for most San Franciscans when I say I am absolutely sick of Karl the Fog! SF is notorious for having late summers that start in September, so until then, we’re stuck in cloud-landia while the rest of the country is suffering from too much heat (I’m looking at you, NY).
Honestly, it’s not the temperature that I hate, but getting dressed every day for the same damn overcast sky has become something of a chore. I refuse to buy more sweaters since I already have so many, but it gets tiring wearing the same ones for months on end. I’ve become that girl who whines each morning, “I’ve got nothing to wear!” So embarrassing.
My solution to restyling my collection of sweaters has been to purchase a few key pieces that will not only stand the test of time, but will also be easy to mix and match with my current wardrobe. I picked up a draped jacket, ripped jeans (something Papa Luxe says he will never understand lol), a classic red bag and some slingback heels. The ladylike heels paired with the edgy ripped jeans is one of my favorite contrasting combinations right now, and the red bag adds the perfect pop of color to my typical black/grey color palette.
Thanks for reading! Hope you all have a great Monday!
