Hola! It’s been a while, but I’ve been working on some pretty exciting projects and I’ll be able to share more in the coming weeks/months! Anyway, today I’m thrilled to show you one of those projects—a collaboration with Banana Republic!
A year ago, I rediscovered my love for BR. They were no longer producing just good pieces for the office, they were expanding their collection to be more youthful and fun! Plus, they had petite sizes and their shoes were BOMB, so naturally, I started regularly shopping there for new wardrobe essentials.
Their latest collection for spring is, in a word, stunning. There are so many great pieces that are sure to fit into anyone’s closet!
I’ve always been a huge fan of maxi dresses and skirts. I think it’s because the style makes me feel like a super tall princess or runway model, with the skirt flowing behind me as I walk… so imagine my sheer delight when Banana Republic gifted me with their new Goddess Maxi Dress! The material is so soft to the touch and the silhouette is timeless; I know I’m going to wear this for years to come. It also comes in petite sizing, so vertically challenged ladies rejoice: no hemming will be needed!! YASSS.
There are a bunch of sunnies in BR’s new spring collection. I love this style in the tortoise shell; it contrasts nicely with my dark hair and fair skin, and it matches literally everything in my closet. Score!
I’ve actually been searching for a good denim jacket to add to my outerwear arsenal, and I was so excited to find this lightly distressed style in their Petites section. When paired with the maxi dress, it dresses the outfit down and makes it perfect for a casual brunch or shopping trip with your girlfriends.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram or Snapchat (closetluxe), you’ve probably noticed I’ve been alluding to an upcoming beach vacation… well, I’m pretty stoked to say that as you read this, I’m getting my things together, zipping up my suitcase and heading to the airport!
I’m off to Tulum, Mexico with Stacey Ann Loves to celebrate her last few months as a single lady. It’s going to be my very first bachelorette party ever (I know, whattt?!) and words cannot describe how excited I am. It’ll also be my first time in Mexico, so if you have any recommendations or tips, please leave them in the comments below!
You can bet I’ll be coming back with new posts from this trip, but if you’d like, please follow along on IG and Snapchat, too… I’ll be posting lots more on there when I have wifi! 🙂
XO
