How is it seriously already July? I took these photos over a month ago, but obviously time flew away from me… again. But better late than never, right?

If you haven’t yet been to the San Francisco boutique Elizabeth Charles, I highly recommend stopping by the next time you are in the Fillmore district. It’s a beautiful store with a perfect curated selection of styles that celebrities and major bloggers are coveting this very second. P.S. They’re also having a pretty sweet online sale right now, so definitely check that out!

I’ve been silently obsessing over Self Portrait’s intricately detailed dresses for a year now, and when I saw this daisy lace and ruffled number hanging on the rack, I was instantly in love. The details were incredible! I tried it on (which you may remember seeing on my Snapchat if you follow me!) and holy good lord, it fit. It was like it was made for me!

True story: When Mama Luxe saw my Snap, she told me how when I was 1 or 2 years old, I actually had a dress very similar to this one with the big ruffled sleeves! Isn’t it funny how styles always come back?

Okay, FORREALS, stay tuned for another new post next week. It’s an exciting one and I can’t wait to share it with you all! Thank you for reading, and have a great weekend. 🙂

I hope it is not insensitive that I posted this when things are falling apart all around this country. Fashion doesn’t matter, but lives do. So many innocent people have been lost through senseless acts, and we just keep losing more. All because of hate, fear and anger. I genuinely do not know how to even begin to solve this problem, but I do know that life is precious. It scares me to think that this is only going to continue to get worse before it gets better. I hope that more people will rally around love and acceptance, and that everyone will think before they act, because the opposite will not not help us make anything better.

Stay safe, my friends!

Just came across your blog from an article about San Francisco Bloggers. I’m obsessed with this dress! Do you think it would work for a wedding, or if something similar would work? Thanks for sharing 🙂

Hi Sarah, great question! I absolutely think a dress like this would work well for a wedding! The only exception would be if it’s a super formal or black-tie affair, then I would suggest a long gown instead. Hope that helps, and thank you for reading! 🙂

I share your sentiment. When everything was falling apart, I shared photos of my sponsored outfits on my FB. Pretty much they were a bunch of pretty photos of me. I thought about the same thing as you did and felt really terrible. However, I was so tired of seeing so many negative posts on my feed. I didn’t want to add to it. I figured something positive and sunny will help break the cycle. It is a good reminder that there are still many good and beautiful things to love in this world.
