As you might have noticed, I do love wearing black a lot. I am not from New York, nor have I been, but judging from how it is my color of choice, I should probably visit soon, right? 🙂
I was immediately drawn to this flowy top because of the unique pleating detail and the longer, asymmetric cut. (Clearly, I love asymmetry!)
Because of my petite stature, whenever I wear something billowy or free-fitting on top, I always make it a point to wear my super skinny jeans or leggings to ensure my frame doesn’t get lost in the outfit. Adding a belt is also a go-to move!
This top was most magical when the breeze set it in motion, as captured in this shot with fellow San Francisco blogger, Sanddi Lee.
This was the first time I had ever shot with another blogger, and it was so much fun feeding off of each other’s energy during our photo shoot. Our black/white outfits were also completely unplanned!
Okay, my lovelies, I’m hanging up my heels for the next couple of weeks. I’m taking off for my annual volunteering trip at a summer camp called Camp Footprints. If you are from the US, please have a wonderful and safe Independence Day! I’ll be back to blogging mid-July. Until then, do check out my online boutique; new items should be added while I’m away! 🙂
