The blurb was short and focused on how they provided the service to build and customize a dress to your liking, which I found intriguing enough. Every body shape is different, so the idea of being able to customize a dress style, cut, length, etc. was exciting!

Upon visiting their website, I was surprised and delighted to find that Bow & Drape was much more than InStyle had led me to believe. Not only can you customize a dress, but you can also customize tees, jackets, skirts, pants, belts, scarves, clutches, swimsuits, and even a sweater for your pup — whew, what a list!

How it Works

Bow & Drape gives customers a great selection of base silhouettes that you can customize to your liking. Choose fabric colors, change necklines and skirt lengths, add appliques and more with their easy-to-use personalization tool.

Once you’ve settled on a design you like, place your order and it will be delivered to your door in 2 weeks. The hardest part will be picking which creation you like best!

I’m absolutely in love with the Billie Sweatshirt. It has a really nice worn-in feel without actually looking old, and it’s the comfiest thing I own while still maintaining style. I have two of them (seen here and here) because I couldn’t decide on just one thing I wanted to say! If I could have endless Billie sweatshirts, I’d make a few more that say #noms, #foodcoma, and I Want Macarons. (Hmm, why are those all food-related? lol!)

I also am a big fan of the Carrie Dress, which was inspired the Sex and the City character, Carrie Bradshaw. It’s a fashionable piece that would look great as a LBD (Little Black Dress) or in color!
