Greetings from LA! I’m spending a few days here with friends, but I still made time to shop the Banana Republic Friends & Family sale. It’s my favorite time to shop, especially since I’m on a heavy budget now! I scored some great pieces, and I hope you guys did too.
To welcome in November, I opted to add a sweater to my collection. The light pink caught my eye immediately in the store, but what really sold me was the texture of the fabric. I have really sensitive skin, especially around my neck and collarbone, so I always have to be picky when I shop for autumn wear. But this one isn’t scratchy or itchy at all!
I also tried Banana Republic’s denim jeans for the first time. As I’m sure you all will agree, finding good denim that fits well (without hemming!) and doesn’t stretch out over time is like finding a needle in a haystack, so imagine my surprise when I tried on this pair of skinny jeans! It fit like a glove in the dressing room, and after wearing it around for a couple days it still feels like new, even around the knees.
You might recognize the boots I also scored at the sale; I loved the brown ones from this outfit so much that I had to get them in the olive color, too! I figured it’s like the saying goes; if the shoe fits, buy them in every color. Besides, I needed to diversify my shoe collection more. 😉
Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a great week ahead!
