Cozy & Wrapped

I swear, we went straight from summer to winter here in San Francisco, with only a couple days that felt like fall. In between winter rainfalls last week, we did get a brisk autumn day, so I quickly took advantage and reached for a cozy sweater and scarf combo.

Determined to wear it still, I experimented with different ways of draping and folding it, and I found that wearing like a wrap was one of the best ways that was most flattering on me.

77_03_nicole_shoes_elise_boot_burgandyEarlier this year, I purged my shoe closet and got rid of my old pair of worn-down brown boots. I thought it’d be easy to find a replacement pair, but shockingly it wasn’t! Luckily, Nicole Shoes came to my rescue, and I fell in love with this business-in-the-front/party-in-the-back style.

We were making our usual pit-stop at Papaya Living in Ashland, Oregon on our way home from Thanksgiving with my sister, and she spotted it on a mannequin.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a great week!

Super cute boots! I love the croc detail on the heel. My boots are all black, black, black. This is great inspiration to try something new!

Really love how you experimented and wore the scarf!

It’s the 2nd time I’ve seen someone blog with the TOMS for Target sweater and I’m totally regretting not getting one for myself. It looks really warm and great for winter.
