Black, blue and a touch of gold

Happy Friday! Just a quick outfit post today with a mix of black, blue and a touch of gold. I paired a flowy, loose-fitting tunic (worn for dim sum purposes) and paired it contrasting textures — denim, faux leather and suede.

I wore a gold statement necklace to break up the otherwise monotone color scheme. The metal feather-like detailing also added another texture to the outfit. 🙂

Wearing these boots makes me feel so tall! And I adore the lace-up detailing in the back.

Behind the scenes tid-bit: I was hoping to take these shots with a backdrop of the San Francisco bay after dim sum, but I ran into too many obstacles on the pedestrian path. It actually worked out, though, because had I not come back to San Francisco looking for a new place to shoot, I never would have discovered that my building has a beautiful front courtyard! It’s amazing how you can sometimes walk by the same thing every day and not realize what you’re seeing until much later.

Have a great weekend! See you on Monday!
